West Huntsville Baptist Church Project Recap. - June 6-13, 2005

June 6-13 was a memorable week as a group from West Huntsville Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL, came to work with two young churches in Zinkov and Shilovka. They brought with them a great spirit of service to God, and He used them in a great way. They led two day camps for children, did renovations on a church building, and helped to sponsor evening evangelistic tent services.
We rejoice to report that by the last day of the 2 camps we had almost 60 children in the morning location and almost 70 in the afternoon location. These children enjoyed themselves tremendously in games, crafts, etc.

Most importantly, the seeds of the gospel were planted and reinforced in their young lives, and we pray that many of them will return and attend children's activities in those two locations. In addition to these 2 day camps, the volunteer group also did renovation work on a building that they bought to help one of the two churches where the day camps were located.
Each night, a large tent was used for evangelistic service which were led by Ukrainian music groups and preachers. The gospel was heard by unbelievers each evening and we trust that God will draw people to Himself through the preaching of the His Word.
On the last day the volunteer team met for worship with the Ukrainian church and celebrated what God had done during the week. This was a great opportunity to gather and celebrate in the building which will be used for ministry in this county seat town.
