Student Project Recap. - June 1-7, 2007
The Project is over, but the impact will last for generations.
Thanks to the Lord for the great week of student ministry we had in Poltava the first of June. We had a group of students here from Alabama, representing several university campuses from around the state. Using English, we were able to go into college classrooms and meet many Ukrainian students. We were able to make contacts with many of the students and invite them to evening meetings where they have fellowship with Ukrainian Christian students and hear the gospel. The student group from AL did a great job. They were prepared to lead various topics in English that related to topics the students here were studying. Some of the most helpful times took place during the times of small group English practice in which one American student led a small group of Ukrainian students in some topic of discussion in English. Each evening the group led out in some them having to do with American culture or English. The Ukrainian students had a great time. In each evening session the gospel was shared in personal testimony, in message, music and skits. The photos on this page will help to tell the story. We praise the Lord and look forward to seeing students come to know Him because of the efforts of this project.
