Pointing to Jesus, like here in this story of the crucifixion, is what we want to do for the people we work with.

The second week of June a volunteer group from Batesville, Arkansas, came to work with children in two locations in our area.

The first Backyard Bible camp was conducted here in Dnipropetrovsk, where we live. This Bible club was held on the grounds of a school we have been trying to work with near Hope church in our city. Around 20 children came in the mornings to this club. The Arkansas team shared the love of Christ with them by giving of their time and themselves through various activities.

The second Backyard Bible camp was held in the town of Illarionova, where we partnered with a young church by working with the children in their town. We had 25-30 children each day who heard about the love of Christ through Bible stories, activities, and crafts.

Pray for children like these, who came this past week, who need to come and be a part of the Bible Clubs we plan to lead next week.

The team also went prayer walking one day, an event which helped them to better understand the spiritual circumstances and conditions that many of our people face. We thank God for partners like them, and others who come to work with us in Reaching Ukraine.

Please pray for the children in the region where Hope church is located, and also in the town of Illarionova.
