An eye examination gives opportunity for a spiritual check up |
We ask you to Pray for the Medical clinics we will be conducting in 11 different locations next week, beginning Saturday. In each place, the gospel will be shared and New Testaments and literature will be offered to all those who come. Ukrainian believers will be doing most of the evangelism each day. Pray for those sharing the gospel, and for those who will hear.
Pray for the group, which is mostly from Mississippi. This is their 10th year in a row to come and partner with us in Ukraine, a kind of jubilee year for us all. We look forward to seeing these dear friends, and seeing how God will use the clinics.
Praise report from the 4 camps last week...
We asked you to pray for the 4 camps last week (two sports camps and two VBS type camps). God answered your prayers and blessed in wonderful ways. He gave favor with local authorities and there were no problems with us conducting the camps. We had a great team from Second Baptist Church in Warner Robbins, GA. This is the third year they have partnered with us to provide sports and Bible camps for children in the cities of Lubni and Gribenka.
He sent, all total, over 300 children who came to the 4 camps. We had opportunity to work with children in a kindergarten at one of the sites and also with some children that had come to a camp for health reasons. All of these children heard the gospel and other Bible stories during the week. Many made decisions for Christ. They also all received Bible story books to take home with them on the last day.
Pray for these children, the decisions made, and that the seeds planted will indeed take root and bear fruit in their lives, touching even their families at home.
