Who Do We Train?

We provide training opportunities for existing church leaders and church planters. These workers typically have families and full time jobs as well as ministry responsibilities. Most have had little or no Bible College or Seminary Training and with such busy schedules, they are not likely to enroll in a seminary.

The training program we are developing will allow them to attend class 1 night a week and learn vital ministry skills.

Several good Seminaries and Bible Colleges conduct fine ministry training programs at a modest to low cost in some of the larger cities in Eastern Ukraine. This includes a small Bible Institute in Dnipropetrovsk. These programs primarily draw students that are able to attend daytime classes for extended periods of time, although some have recently begun to offer some night and weekend courses.

These programs are not currently geared to provide training for the hundreds of potential leaders and church planters desperately needed in the growing Ukrainian church. This is the training need in our region that we hope to fulfill.
