Karl Marx is probably the most beautiful street in Dnipr. As you walk down the street, you see beautiful architecture in many of the buildings and many stylish new shops. However, the beautiful buildings and fancy stores are mostly an attractive facade. Behind the scene there is over one million people living in this city. Most fight a daily survival battle trying to stretch their salaries to meet the growing expenses. Consumed by the many problems of life, most don`t have time and energy to think about their souls. Pray that God will break through with His truth, that Ukrainians might see beyond the facade of new materialism to their need for Him. |
