The church from Volnogorsk has acquired a small building in Mishurin Rog and today, a small number of believers and seekers are meeting on Sundays for worship. A church planter from the church at Volnogorsk travels back and forth to pastor the fledgling church. Though people have shown interest, the work is progressing slowly. A thousand years of Eastern Orthodox tradition and 70 years of communist propaganda are not easily overcome. Most have been taught to be suspicious of evangelical believers.
