For the past 10 years, pastor Sasha (second from left) and his church of just over 100 have been reaching the hearts of the people of the village of Volnogorsk in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Though the church is small by U.S. standards it is active in starting 4 new churches in the surrounding villages. A year ago, they chose a small village, Mishurin Rog, which is an hour away on the banks of the Dnipr river, to be the site of a new church start.
